Hello Ade,
Nipple complaints are like splitting and there is white in the middle can be a normal variation. White and white can be dirt. You can try to clean the nipple area with a soft cloth moistened with water. Make sure the nipple is completely clean from the rest of the soap while bathing. Avoid rubbing your nipples too hard. Use a comfortable and not tight bra and replace the bra if wet or sweaty.
If accompanied by redness or tenderness of the nipple and abnormal discharge, consideration should be given to other causes such as fungal infections, bacterial infections, nipple irritation due to certain substances such as soaps, detergents, breast creams, and bra, breast, and breast paget disease.
Associated with flat or inner nipples, if the condition since childhood is generally not dangerous. You can try using a retractor nipple to help restore the nipple shape for easy feeding later. You can also do the stimulation by gently pulling the nipples several times a day. But if the nipple suddenly comes in with lumps and changes in the breast, it is necessary to think about the possibility of breast cancer.
For painful complaints when pressed, if you press hard it would be natural if the breast hurt for a moment. but if pain is felt continuously or often relapse although not pressed, the condition can be caused due to some things such as cyclic pain during menstruation, infection and inflammation of the breast, breast lumps, contraceptive side effects, large breast size, wearing a bra too tight, unhealthy eating patterns, and post-breast surgery. For now you should not often press the breast and if the terrace can be done anyeri warm or cold compress.
I suggest that you do breast self-examination every time menstruation is done. If you find lumps, breast changes, skin changes such as orange peel, or recurring pain, you should see your doctor directly for further examination if necessary with ultrasound and mammography to confirm your condition. Handling will be given by your doctor considering the results of your examination and condition yes.
Thanks and hopefully helpful,
dr. Devika Y
