Doctor's Answer: dr. Caecilia Haryu Aryapti

Hello,
Abdominal bloating is often cause pain sensation. If your acid reflux disease (GERD) has been resolved properly, if a stomach discomfort complaint still arises, you should consider some things that might cause it:

Eating habits too fast, drinking in a hurry.

Irregular bowel movements.

Excessive weight / obesity.

Inflammatory bowel disease / Colitis, bowel disorders (Irritable Bowel Syndrome / IBS)

More serious medical conditions such as gastrointestinal infections, terbentyknya fluid in the abdominal cavity due to cancer, hepatic / liver disease, kidney failure, congestive heart failure, pancreas function disorder.

Celiac disease, an autoimmune condition occurring in the gastrointestinal tract, where all foods / beverages containing a compound contained in gluten, can cause an inflammatory reaction due to the body's misident recognition as a dangerous substance. Symptoms in adults are often not associated with gastrointestinal complaints.
From the information you have written, you have undergone a medical check-up and the doctor has performed a medical evaluation, given a diagnosis and therapy. If the complaint you feel is still very disturbing, check back to the Doctor of course is the best way.
If you have difficulty in the language, use the application / website available on smartphone for Indonesian translation to the language where you live. Your local doctor will definitely try to read and understand your complaints. Arrange in writing the complaints you have been experiencing so far at home before seeing the Doctor so that time is used effectively in the Doctor's office.
Take along all your medical examination documents in the past. Arrange the documents of the medical examination, the handling that has been given by time, include the place of health service and the Doctor who helped you all this time (if you move the clinic / hospital / doctor).
But while at home, try practicing some of the following lifestyles:

Avoid chewing gum, eating cabbage and the like, nuts and soft drinks. All this will trigger the stomach to become bloated.

Notice whether the milk and its derivative products also trigger digestive complaints after your consumption. If so, avoid all types of foods and beverages that contain milk.

If you are overweight or obese, try slowly and healthily to lose weight until the normal category.

Diligent and consistent exercise. Exercise helps the gastrointestinal tract so that the gas in the colon does not accumulate.

Get enough sleep especially at night, at least 7 hours a day.
Digestive problems can be related to fatigue conditions and emotional problems. Try to implement a healthy lifestyle better.
So info that we can convey, hopefully help you.
Sincerely, Dr. Caecilia Haryu Aryapti.
