Doctor's Answer: dr. Irna Cecilia
Hello,
Typhoid fever is a disease caused by Salmonella typhi bacterial infection. This bacterial infection can spread through contaminated food or drink / water contaminated with fecal matter containing Salmonella bacteria. The recovery period in this disease can vary between 1-2 weeks, depending on the severity of the infection. But most people will already feel the improvement of symptoms after 3 days of antibiotic consumption.
Although it can heal within 1-2 weeks, people with typhoid can still feel the symptoms weak and tired quickly until a few weeks after tifoid healed. You can overcome these symptoms with enough sleep and rest, eat high-protein foods, consume lots of vegetables and fruit, and drink in sufficient quantities.
In about 10% of patients with typhoid, recurrence of this disease can occur. Therefore, patients are still expected to control to the doctor until approximately 3 months post infection. Some symptoms of typhoid relapse are the return of typhoid symptoms, such as fever, nausea, vomiting, CHAPTER CHAPTER, the appearance of reddish spots on the skin. If you experience these symptoms, you should check yourself back to the doctor.
Here are some things you can do to prevent recurrent infections:
Wash your hands before eating and after you CHAPTER and BAK
Eat well-cooked and well-cooked foods. When eating outdoors, eat food that is still warm
Make sure you eat in a place that is clean and free of flies
Avoid consumption of raw vegetables and unpeeled fruit. Wash vegetables and fruit well before you eat
Always drink boiled water and clean water. Be careful in using ice cubes that you do not make yourself.
So much information from me, hopefully enough answer
